These terms apply to the Ready by May public beta, student accounts, practice tools, paid Subject Passes, and Commons.
Educational purpose
Ready by May provides independent practice and review tools. It does not guarantee an AP score, admission result, academic credit, or availability of any particular exam item.
Accounts and records
You are responsible for accurate account information and for protecting your sign-in credentials. Synced reports are a study aid, not a permanent academic record. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or beta changes. We may apply reversible practice, posting, syncing, subject, or rate limits to protect the service and enforce these terms. Suspended users may request human review through the configured support channel.
Subject Pass purchases
A Subject Pass unlocks the listed practice library for one selected AP subject through the date shown at checkout. It is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew unless a future checkout expressly says otherwise. Payment is processed by the authorized Merchant of Record identified on the checkout, such as Paddle or Dodo Payments when enabled. Access is attached to the Ready by May account used at checkout and may not be resold, transferred, or shared between unrelated users. Prices, taxes, currency conversion, and available payment methods are confirmed before payment by that checkout provider.
Staff-managed community identities
Ready by May may use a limited number of staff-managed identities to organize official study rooms, publish guidance, or answer questions. These identities are always visibly labeled as Ready by May team accounts and must not be presented as independent students or used to fabricate testimonials, popularity, or customer experiences.
Commons rules
The Commons exists for AP preparation, peer explanation, honest mock debriefs, and study support. Do not harass others, reveal personal contact information, spam, impersonate people, evade moderation, or publish dangerous or unlawful material. Do not upload, paste, request, or link to leaked, unreleased, secure, AP Classroom, progress-check, or other restricted exam content. Do not rehost official AP files; link to the official College Board page instead where appropriate.
Posts may be screened automatically and reviewed by moderators. We may hold, remove, or restrict content or accounts to protect students, exam security, intellectual property, and the service. Automated decisions can be reviewed through the support contact.
User contributions
You keep ownership of original content you post. By posting, you give Ready by May a non-exclusive license to host, display, format, moderate, and distribute that contribution only as reasonably needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that you have the right to share it.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for personal study. You may not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape or redistribute question banks, probe other accounts, automate abusive activity, or use the service unlawfully.
Intellectual property and identification
The Ready by May software, visual system, and independently authored material are protected by applicable law. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners. AP and Bluebook are trademarks of College Board and are used only to identify the relevant examinations and testing format.
Availability and changes
Beta features may change, be corrected, or be removed. When paid service begins, material changes affecting purchasers will be communicated through the account email or live site.
